Recognize and Avoid Work From Home Scams

Hundreds of Work from Home Scams Online:
There are hundreds of work from home scams all over the internet, and chances are you have been baited by one of them already. Some of the most popular work at home scams right now are the Google Ads Scam, Processing Rebates Scam, and the Survey Scams. Learn to avoid scams like the one below. Be sure to visit the Free Scam Alert section of our website to learn about more popular online scams to avoid.

Two of the Top Scams Online Today:

  • Work from Home with Google Scam – These scams usually look like a newspaper actually wrote up the article. Or sometimes it may look like the second photo telling you to send away for your “Google Home Business Kit”. These are both SCAMS!! These companies DO NOT work for Google and do not give you Google jobs. They tell you that you can make money Posting Links for Google or as an Auction Listing Specialist. When in all actuality, after they scam you out of your hard earned money, all they do is tell you all about a program called Google Adwords, which is a legitimate program through Google. The scam here is that Google does not pay you to post links. Google Adwords is mainly for website owners or people that have alot of money to invest in testing and running ads for affiliate programs. For newbies, these ads don’t normally result in making you any money. You will probably lose far more money then you will ever make. Only people that know a lot about search engine marketing will excel in this area, and even many of them fail. So if you see this Scam – Run and Run Fast!

How They Bait You:
These websites are very good at what they do. First, they normally bait you in with the promise of earning huge income levels for very little work or skill level. This should be your first red flag. Second, many of these sites are designed on what appears to be an official newspaper article which makes it look really realistic. Third, the url is usually a newspaper type title. Fourth, they show you a picture of a check claiming that they earned that check from doing whatever it is that they are trying to sell you.

So these are the Red Flags:

  • Promise Huge Earning Levels for Little Work or Skills
  • Site is Designed on Newspaper Article
  • Url is Titled after a Newspaper
  • Show you a Picture of Check Claiming its From their Google Earnings

Promise of Unbelievable Earnings with Little Work or No Skills:
Another thing we want to expand on which indicates a work from home scam is an advertising stating that you can earn a unbelievable amount of money for doing something trivial, then you should know it’s a scam. For example, if you see an online ad that promises $200 an hour for a simple data entry job that requires no skill, then you should definitely be skeptical and run the other way fast. Or an ad that states you can be paid $25 each for submitting links and promises you can earn $200-$300 a day doing so, you should immediately know this is a scam. No company will ever pay a salary that is beyond the existing market rates. With that said, there are many technical positions like web designing or programming that attracts such huge salaries, but they do require their own set of skills. It is important to distinguish and understand what the employer is paying for. As a rule of thumb, if something is too good to be true, chances are that it isn’t true. Again, that shouldn’t prevent you from exploring really great opportunities of genuine work from home jobs.

People are Skeptical:
It is due to the presence of such vast number of scams like this that people often become skeptical about whether real and legitimate online jobs actually exist. Unfortunately, as an individual seeking a real work at home job so that you can have more freedoms in life and more flexibility in your work schedule, it can be very difficult to separate the legitimate work at home jobs from the ones that are scams. Sorting through all the scams can be time consuming and costly.

I joined My World Plus in December 2009. To date, I’ve been very impressed. The product is something everyone can benefit from and is super easy to use. In fact, all you do is do what your doing already except now you can save money in the process. And the making money is pretty good too. They have a very generous pay plan and a very good automatic marketing and follow up system.

I hope the information presented here will help you if you are considering joining the program.

My World Plus is both a business opportunity and a way to save money on groceries, restaurants, shopping, dining, sporting events, movies, golf green fees and more.

With your membership, you’ll receive a discount card that is good at small independent businesses offering discounts and lots of well known brands such as Subway, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Quiznos, Avis, Planet Hollywood, Sea World, RadioShack, Best Western, Domino’s and more.

As far as the Business Opportunity, My World Plus pays instant commissions whenever someone joins using your link and there are also monthly commissions based on all members who joined after you. For me, in less than two months my team has grown to over 1000 paid members. I’m not kidding. I’ve only put in a few myself. Most of those are from the work of the team as a whole and if you join I have no doubt you will see your team grow just as quickly.

When someone signs up to My World Plus through your link and purchases a membership you are paid an instant $25 commission.

Also, every month you are paid a share of the profits based on all members that joined after you. This increases every month as more and more members join My World Plus, and it also increases as you personally sign up members.

You don’t have to join to find out how your team will grow, You can take a free tour of My World Plus here and just see how many people the team will collectively put on your team!

If you decide to join the cost is $69.95 for your first month and $19.95 per month thereafter. You can cancel at any time. There is no contract.

The membership includes full access to all the discounts and the ability to earn commissions on personal sales and company sales.

My World Plus pay US & Canadian members via direct bank deposit and international members (outside the USA/Canada) by Global Exchange. US members can also be paid by check if they prefer.

This is a worldwide opporunity. If your main reason for joining is for the discounts, it’s best to live in the US or Canada because that is where the discounts are more prevalent. Outside of the USA/Canada, you should join with a focus on the business opportunity.

One of my upline enrollers, lives in the UK and here is what she has to say about that:

“I live in the UK and although there are a good number of discounts for UK citizens, most of them are 50% discount on golf green fees, or 10% discounts on hotels. If I search on a USA location, there are thousands of varied discounts available and you have the facility to by discounted vouchers (60% off) at restaurant.com.

Regardless of where in the World you live, you can promote MyWorldPlus and get paid commissions through Global Exchange.” -Suzanne

There is a ton of training set up with the program. They really have gone over and above to make sure members have a base of training to help them reach their goals. The member center has a training sectio. There you’ll find a library of training calls and read about how to use the savings and how to make money with My World Plus. There are also six live training calls every week that you can join.

My World Plus gives you some excellent tools to promote your business like these lead capture pages:

http://tmyworldplus.MWPtour.com
http://tmyworldplus.MyWorldResults.com
http://tmyworldplus.MyWorldPower.com
http://tmyworldplus.OneLineBuilder.com
http://tmyworldplus.BuildVertical.com
http://tmyworldplus.MyWorldMoms.com

Get visitors to these pages and they’ll do the work for you. When someone enters their name, email address and phone number they will become a “Pre Enrollee” where they can look around the member center to see if they want to join or not. Beginning immediately, they will receive automatic follow up emails from the system, encouraging them to join My World Plus. Another way My World Plus has set up the system to do a LOT of the leg work for you.

There are lots of different ways that you can promote My World Plus e.g. on your own website or blog, through traffic exchanges, classified ads, article marketing, offline marketing (e.g. ads and business cards), forum marketing, email marketing and more. There is never a need to talk to anyone on the phone. Simply focus on advertising your lead capture pages (like the ones listed above) and the system will do the rest for you. There is no need to phone anyone unless you particularly want to do this and have prior experience in doing so.

To summarize, from my brief experience, the benefits are the generous pay plan, the excellent marketing/follow up system and the wide range of discounts available (in particular to US citizens).

Wondering how to sign up?

There’s no need to jump right in, just visit My World Plus to take a free tour first. If you do end up joining through my link, I will provide you with support and answer all your questions.

I hope you found this review of My World Plus helpful. Questions? Contact me and I will be happy to help.
